Trial and Bribe

According to my Longman dictionary (it's a British edition):
bribe to influence the behaviour or judgement ... by offering them favours or gifts.
trial (an act or period of) testing to ensure quality, usefulness, safety, etc.

This is what happened yesterday- I set out to try the black fleece/Plexiglas combination set-up but I had to bribe J. to sit for me (peanut butter m&m's, in case you're wondering).
He's sitting on one of those kid chairs I bought previously, and only wearing is everyday stay-at-home clothes, holding a small bowl of the aforementioned objects of bribery. Not a portrait, but still cute.

Lesson learned:
- I need an assistant!
(kind of hard to be the photographer, child wrangler and babysitter to the baby at the same time)
- the black fleece works well (I didn't even need to 'burn' the background- it looks solid black).
- the Plexiglas (not seen in this photo) is not easy to photograph (note to self- ask for tips on ILP).

There will be more trial versions to soon follow (maybe on Friday when D. is home).
