Little Boy Blue
(my PS version and a version with an adjusted vintage action- almost looks like an old faded photo)
(All taken in natural light)
Friday night, while in bed, I had a 'vision' for session with J.
In January, during my search for a wooden child-size chair, I went to the local furniture store and had a quick tour. I didn't find the little chair but I noticed this saddle bar stool that had a lot of potential. It was a little more than I wanted to pay for it at the time, so I didn't buy it.
Flash forward to Friday night- in my 'vision' I saw J. sitting on that bar stool, wearing little jean overalls. So cute!
After debating with my buttons for part of the early morning, I loaded all the kids in the van and went to the furniture store, and I bought myself a walnut saddle-style bar stool. I'm quite happy with my purchase, by the way.
J. was a little intimidated at first, being perched so high, but I managed to capture that sweet expression.
Than we moved to the floor to play with some blocks and he barely sat still- I was lucky to get that one.
I'm not very happy with my post processing in Photoshop, so I'll probably be reworking these.
Later this week I'll be posting a review on black & white conversions and actions, so be sure to come back.
